We don't mind trekking eastward to Markham to eat. On this trip, the target was Korean for Gamjatang (Spicy Pork Bone Soup). There's quite a selection at First Markham Place. We picked Nak Won as the restaurant is more spacious than the other Korean places in the vicinity. I love the display of fake dishes on their window. Reminds me of Japan.

This is the actual banchan which Mini Shabu Shabu attacked plate after plate, except for the kimchi.

Broiled Chicken

This is an attempt to make Chicken Inasal, and my first at broiling.


I am using my broil pan for the first time. The pan was so easy to clean afterwards.

The oil that would have clogged my arteries if I had not broiled.
